Ground Water, Soil and Hazardous Waste

In today’s highly regulated environment with expensive penalties for non-compliance, accurate soil/ground water and waste characterization are are essential.

PIXIS can provide developers, real estate sales, engineering firms and home owners with full range testing required for UST decommissioning, leachate testing and other hazardous waste characterizations and cleanup projects.

PIXIS Labs works closely with consultants and UST service suppliers to provide the support testing required for site cleanup and ongoing monitoring. The laboratory has two-sample drop off locations (Salem & Hood River) as well as the Portland lab to ensure the quick response requirements of the excavation/cleanup process.

PIXIS Labs maintains a storm water-sampling database for over 125 clients. The laboratory provides sampling kits and timely reminders as well as field sampling or sample pickup services. Each field technician is prepared to perform pH analysis on site as mandated by States regulators.

Testing for Environmental Health and Real Estate Transactions

Waste Water and Biosolids

Give PIXIS the responsibility to ensure that you meet your National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit requirements. Capable and accredited to cover all types of waste water permits issued by regulatory agencies. PIXIS will collect your garb and composite samples, provide analysis for priority pollutants, physical characteristics and land application.

PIXIS Labs provides testing for private industrial and municipal treatment plants requiring periodic wastewater permit compliance and biosolids in accordance with EPA 503 Regulations for Land Application.

The laboratory operates a program including composite and grab sampling as required by discharge permits. PIXIS maintains permit specific information to schedule sample collection and/or to provide sampling containers for those who perform their own collection.
